Appreciate the inputs on the post I had on color appearing on the wispy clouds I see on top of
cumulus clouds when I was airborne one early morning. I have seen glories before when I
was airborne, but the colors I see on the wispy clouds were nowhere round like they would be
if it were a glory. I guess I may have misled some people when I said the colored clouds were
opposite the sun in the sky. They weren't exactly opposite the sun but on the opposite side, to
be more general.

The colors in the clouds were quite temporary. A shift in the airplane's direction would make
them vanish, and they'd only hang around for a few seconds. Their coloration reminded me of
the rainbow colors one sees when you look at a spray of water on an early morning or late
afternoon, and the spray is opposite the direction of the sun. The colors would seem to flit
quickly into view, and then disappear. Probably the same mechanism as the water spray,
but only this time, the clouds were displaying the color. Thoughts?
