Saw and photographed. It was quite nice display. Interestingly, I also noted them about 11.30 pm, just when I stepped out from the movie theatre. Then I watched this "natural movie" 'till 0.30 am or so. It was getting brighter and brighter, but at least at my location the stratocumuli started to block the view.
