We would like to announce version 2.0 of HALO.
The program produces accurate and realistic
simulations of atmospheric halos. It can be
freely downloaded from our updated halo
website at
http://www.lc.dial.pipex.com/halo/halosim.htm
New features are:
*Ray filter and tracing tools to display, isolate
and diagnose particular halos
*Choice of crystal tilt models
*Easy generation of custom crystal orientations
*Toolkit to build custom pyramidal ice crystals
*More graphics options and pre-stored simulations
*Better interface..
