Tarmo.... are you sure they were cumulonimbus clouds?? I saw this
evening one anvil cloud in southern Finland, but it was definately not
cumulonimbus, only a raining cumulus with a top at probably height of
5-7 km reaching some inversion layer that made the top of cloud look
like an anvil. I checked also lightning data and there has been no
thunderstorms in this part of Europe. And the rain showers in Estonia
belonged to same very cold weather system that was here in Finland.
