Hi!

It is nice that so many of you still keep in contact. I'm sorry that I haven't been so active in writing to you, studies and other things seem to occupy me quite much. I will try my best to keep this page up for the years to come.

I lectured the one and only course on space engineering at my university this Spring, that was a nice experience and ISU gave me so much perspective into the course.

The Guiana trip was very nice experience, and meeting Georgios, Erik and Stuart after half a year from SSP. As was the IAC 2003 in October in Bremen with so many of ISU people there. I wish I'll get a job where I'm able to travel into space activities.

It always brightens my day when someone of you writes to our SSP mailing list. Remember that even if people don't reply to you, they for sure read your mail and enjoy it. :-)

Welcome to China,
It will be a magic tour for you to come to this ancient but modernized and prosperous nation. If you come to the capital - Beijing, I would be very glad to see you and take you everywhere you want.
Come on, Guys!

Greetings to all my SPP 03 classmates from Colorado! Please let me know if you get within 200 miles of Colorado, and I'll come to see you. I can't promise to show you the seething underbelly of American life (as Avery can), but beautiful mountains, roaring rivers, and wholesome living can be yours for the asking. May each of you be blessed with great fortune in 2004!

Rachel

Hi guys,

to response to Avery, I dont have an actual photo from my work, but that one comes very close :-), my masterproject starts next weeks so I had/have time to chill out from the Summer.

I am back in Dresden and I will be here for the next six month, so when you are around, that includes Prague and Berlin contact me and I am pretty sure to arrange some accomodation, and when enough time is left I will come around. By the way in Dresden you could stay in my flat with my two lovely female flatemates, pictures?

Just one more additional thing, in N.Y. is a very good and cheap youth hostel in Brooklyn, when you need the adress, email me.

Mathias

My fellow Space Mafiosos,

Observe the Space Policy Gangsta in his natural habitat. If I am not occupied with my gangsta bid-ness, I would be happy to chill with you if you are traveling to either of these two locations:

Washington DC: I will definitely be in this "city" until May 2003, but you can't stay with me 'cuz there's barely enough room for myself in my apartment. I may be able to convince Jeph or Brian or Kunihiro's wife to let you stay with one of them. I'd be more than happy to take you to some good restaurants -- there actually are a few here in DC. There is also Ultimate every Saturday Morning from 10:30 in front of the Washington Monument. For a real city experience, though, you should go to...

New York Fuckin' City: Don't ask me 'bout no hotels 'cuz I never had to stay in one, but I got the rest of the city down. And if I don't know something, then I know someone who does. Yes, Mathias, I know someone who knows about that, too. The main attractions of NYC are... well, there are too many to list. If your name is Peter Martinez, then add one more, though: my mother's brownstone is being remarkably restored and is filled with (too many) antiques. To all who may venture to the greatest city on Earth, remember that NYC does not end with the borders of Manhattan Island.

Hello from Finland!

I have gradually recovered from the huge jet lag from France to Finland. I got these pages in net on Sunday 14th September, but didn't feel that they were nice enough so I kept working on them still some time...

Back to studies. Still some way to go for M.Sc.

If you are interested, take a look at my (not-so-regularly-updated) web pages.
