Solar Eclipse in Zambia 2001

Pictures seen here are taken to a 100 ASA diapositive film with a focal length of 200mm except the 2 first ones through mylar coated 11x80 binoculars by free hand...just a wild shot against all odds. They are in chronological order and the last picture is combined from some of the previous. The exposure time during the totality vary from 1/1000 sec to approx. 1/15 sec. Unfortunately just the best part of the beautiful Diamond Ring in the end was missed by trashed camera triggering equipment and a sunstroked photographer...
