Hello meteopic members,

For those who want to see an example of a rainbow with weel-developed interference arc go here:

http://www.geocities.com/bowlturner/interference_bows.html

This is a link to a page on the rainbow section of my homepage and this one is on interference arcs and the best wasy I made the bows that are shown in the photos was to use a garden hose with a fine tuned spray which gave great results in one of the photos shows up to 5 interference arcs at once and as Harald said there is some washing out of colors and in my pictures from the interference experiment with the hose shows the 4th and 5th supernummeries are red and green and the experiment also created and interference bow on the outside of the secondary arc.

I hope this page will show some clues to the case of the double primary arc.

Best,
Michael
