Hi everyone,

I observed a Lunar halo last night in Canberra Australia at

Time 11.30UT

Long 149 E
Lat -35.25

The Moons altitude was 45 degrees and the halo was only visible for the 180
degree arc above the Moon. Any halo below was probably lost in the light pollution. There was cirrus cloud probably containing ice crystals ( and hopefully preceding a cold front with more snow :-) )
